Human Design: old symbols, a system born in 1987

Ra Uru Hu traced Human Design to an experience in Ibiza in January 1987. He described receiving its framework during eight days. That is the founder’s account of its origin, not a scientifically verified discovery. He later taught the system and founded Jovian Archive in 1999 to preserve his work. Human Design brings astrology together with patterns drawn from the I Ching and other symbolic traditions.

Its chart looks different from a Western wheel. Planetary positions activate gates, and pairs of gates can form channels between centres. The connected pattern gives rise to labels such as type, authority and profile. Astranema explains those calculated labels in everyday terms and includes related prompts for contemplation. You can use them to notice how you respond in different settings. They do not measure your biology or tell you to ignore reasoning, consent or professional advice when making a decision.
